Flashback – Italy 2010
Part 2 – San Fratello
While on our trip through the gorgeous island of Sicily, a relative took us through the countryside towards the town of San Fratello. Unfortunately this beautiful little town in the northern mountains of Sicily had suffered a devastating landslide one year earlier (October of 2009). What was left was a ghost town of cracked facades, stray animals, and debris scattering the streets. Apparently this wasn’t the first time this town was devastated by landslides and it certainly doesn’t look like it will be the last.
